On Saturday, October 12, 2024 we hosted the 11th Annual Pumpkin Festival at Homewood Central Park from 10 am to 1 pm. The Pumpkin Festival is the Junior Board’s signature fundraising event and is a day of family-friendly fun that the Birmingham community looks forward to each year. Games, food trucks, and pumpkins wait for you and your family at the Pumpkin Festival!

 

Children's admission is just $10 and includes a pumpkin and access to all games and activities! Adult admission to the festival is free. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time or at the festival. Cash, debit/credit card, and online payments are accepted. You can grab lunch and treats from favorite vendors. 

In addition to raising funds for our fall operations, this is a community-wide effort alongside supportive volunteer partners to advocate and bring visibility and awareness to the challenges and needs of Alabama youth in foster care. Over 120 community volunteers helped out at the Festival. Thank you for supporting our efforts - learning more, sharing with friends, volunteering, giving, sponsoring, attending. Our youth and girls need you in their corner, together we can give them a better chance to grow safely and find hope and opportunities for a positive future.
